Lenovo C325, new all-in-one computer

Lenovo in the U.S. a launches new all-in-one Lenovo C325; the Lenovo C325 features a 20-inch touchscreen. The new all-in-one computer features a 20-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 by 900 pixels. Customers can choose between a ‘normal’ and a touch screen. For the latter option should be paid more.

The all-in-one Lenovo C325 runs on a dual core AMD processor and has an integrated graphics chip from AMD. The maximum memory is 8GB, while storage for 1TB of disk space available. Read on »

Acer Aspire Predator G3

ViewSonic presents V3D231, new 23-inch 3D LED monitor with response time of 2 ms, Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080) and contrast ratio of 20.000.000:1. V3D231 has an original design and incorporates onboard HDMI 1.4a, DVI and VGA.

BenQ releases RTS monitor, strategy gaming monitor

After many monitors for gamers to have cast, it’s time for manufacturers to develop monitors for specific groups of gamers (RTS monitor). That seems the least idea of BenQ, a PC screen launches specifically for players of strategy games.

Lenovo cross htpc-operation in new look on N5902

Computer manufacturer Lenovo has a new ministry for HTPC released. The compact, wireless remote control includes a keyboard and mouse functions and is extended with key lighting.

The device goes through life as the N5902 and N5901 to follow the previously released. The new model has the glossy look of Lenovo predecessor replaced by a matte look, in response to user complaints about the sensitivity of fingerprints. Read on »

HP releases ZR2740w, ZR2440w, and ZR2240w, trio graphics monitors

HP Tuesday launched three new monitors for graphics professionals called the ZR2740w, ZR2440w, and ZR2240w; these three IPS monitors, including a new 27-inch model.

The new trio is designed for graphics professionals who deal with such image processing and computer-aided design (CAD). Each color has a fixed IPS panel, while its LED backlight with a lot slimmer than their predecessors, according to HP.

The trio is led by the ZR2740w, a 27-inch monitor with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels. This display can be billions of different colors according to HP, in contrast to the usual 16.7 million colors that most monitors may show magic. Read on »

Lenovo ThinkVision LT

Lenovo announces that 11 of his family Lenovo ThinkVision LT monitors have been certified Gold UL Environment’s Sustainable Product Certification (SPC) for their characteristic “green”. The certification was granted to the new Lenovo ThinkVision LT monitors LED Series Lenovo ThinkVision LT1952 (19 inches), Lenovo ThinkVision LT2252p (22 inches) and LT2452p wide (24 inches), and that in addition to meeting standards of sustainability, to provide professional, a ‘brilliant viewing experience with high resolution display, the large number of ports and the ability to manage their inclination.

The Environment agency UL certified Gold Lenovo monitors after they are subjected to various checks which related to the reduction or elimination of environmentally sensitive materials, energy conservation and management of the product when it is at the end of the cycle of life. The Lenovo ThinkVision LT1952p and Lenovo ThinkVision LT2252p contain recycled material for 85% of their volume and have passed the Energy Star 5.0 requirements for low power consumption in standby mode and off mode, the products are also sold in packaging made from recycled materials. Iomega releases Mac Companion Hard Drive

Iomega has launched the Mac Companion Hard Drive. This external hard drive for Mac users can also act as a hub and USB charger for iPhone and iPad.

The new external hard drive Mac Companion Hard Drive is in size a bit like the Mac Mini and Iomega fits in “perfectly” on the basis of an iMac or Apple display. In the square box with rounded corners is a 2 or 3TB hard drive, via one of the two FireWire 800 ports and one USB port on the Mac can be linked. Four LEDs show how much capacity is still available.

The Mac Companion Hard Drive has a USB hub with two connectors and a high-powered ‘USB connector for charging smartphones and tablets like the iPhone and iPad. The second FireWire port allows another device via firewire Mac Companion Hard Drive into the computer. Read on »
