Facebook Phone with Windows Phone?

For many months, the Facebook Phone fills much of our class “rumors”. Indeed, we have long believed that Taiwan’s HTC is the first manufacturer to offer a Facebook Phone, this is how the HTC ChaCha Android was accompanied by a “Facebook button”.

But finally … Microsoft and Facebook could potentially be associated with the system Windows Phone. This Windows Phone could be designed by Nokia and would integrate all functionalities of social networks whose the brand new App Center (announced this morning).

After buying Instagram, the launch of the App Center, the rumor of a Facebook Phone… Imagine that Facebook does not want to miss its initial public offering.

Samsung Omnia M comes with Windows Phone 7.5

Samsung announces on Friday that makes the Samsung Omnia M, the third Windows Phone manufacturer, available in June in Europe. The smartphone runs on Windows Phone 7.5, which is equipped with the new Tango update.

Samsung Focus 2: Samsung introduces Windows smartphone with 4G

Samsung on Monday in the U.S. Samsung Focus 2 introduced a new Windows smartphone with LTE support.

The new device follows the Focus, Focus Flash and Focus S on, and has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen. Also, the Samsung Focus 2, a 5-megapixel camera on board, that HD movies are to be included in 720p resolution. Furthermore, the device has a chat front camera.

The Samsung Focus 2  can handle faster mobile internet connection through a 4G (LTE). It is the third Windows device on the network of the U.S. telecommunications provider AT & T, and will include face off against Nokia Lumia 900.

The Samsung Focus 2  is available from 20 May in the U.S.. Or Samsung device in Europe in favor, is not yet known.

Samsung Focus S2: Samsung will launch a Windows Phone 8 based on the Galaxy S3?

LG Optimus 7: confirmed the absence of upgrading to Windows Phone 8

Windows Phone Apollo: Microsoft no updates it for current Windows Phone devices

Microsoft will not update to Windows Phone Apollo released for existing Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango)-phones. The Verge reported that based on conversations with a trusted source.

The messages from the anonymous source agree with previous observations of Microsoft expert Mary Jo Foley. Microsoft itself is as yet no clarity on the issue. So the company said yesterday in reaction to the interview issued by his spokesman: “We have always stated that all apps in the Marketplace will run on the next version of Windows Phone. Furthermore, we have nothing to say about a future release.”

Acer W11 could come in autumn 2012 with dual core and Windows Phone 8

Nokia Lumia 900 vs Galaxy Note

After witnessing the comparison between the Nokia Lumia 900 and Samsung Galaxy Nexus, we continue to evaluate how the new flagship of the Finnish manufacturer faces a maximum weight of other high-end smartphone segment, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note. These are two very different devices for both hardware equipment for the target groups, united in every case, the suitability to satisfy those looking for a device with generous screen size.

The comparison in terms of pure technical specifications has a relative importance, considering the different impact that Windows Phone and Android have on system resources. The single core processor of Nokia Lumia 900, together with the Adreno 225 GPU, offers enough power to move without lag MetroUI user interface. Regarding the display, as we know, the Nokia Lumia 900 uses a screen of 4.3″ AMOLED WVGA type with Clear Black, while the Galaxy Note, a Super AMOLED panel with 720p resolution and well-diagonal 5.3″.
