Good good medium
I watched the news today (big mistake, I know), and I heard some experts discuss a recent tragedy on American college campuses. Seems a young couple (“Roommates”) secretly filmed a young colleague private behavior in private and distributing video over the Internet. The young man was, was very depressed and committed suicide. As (if I understand correctly) was a gay boy, the experts have spoken, I saw that the couple should be prosecuted for a hate crime.
Personally, I have no chance of … I think all the real crime is a hate-filled within the offender. What caught my attention is how the news went on individuals, which was a tragedy for all three families. Of course, they said the victim’s family is devastated. But what a tragedy it is for both authors and their families, “she said. After all, the young woman as a “good student” was (I heard these words repeated) and the young man was such a “good musician.” And now their lives were also ravaged, and moved their family’s tragedy.
The feeling seems OK, since it goes. Of course, the heart goes to all three families. But I will not particularly cyber-criminals, and I do not think they deserve the label “good”.
Maybe we’ve all been in the devil in us, and we teased or ridiculed them. In my life I was much more about the reception of such behavior … but I am not without sin is the sense of non-compliance on my own mood middle several times. But I never crossed the border of these children. Until I was when it was time for the “Save” button (or of course by the time I want to be “send”) made the better angels of my nature would have mentioned him. And that is essentially “good” person would, in my opinion, too short, that the couple had taken.
If one of my adult offspring is reading this, let me assure you: If you have something like this, it will grab your family injured … but I’m not saying it’s a tragedy because you are a “good student” or “good musicians” or “good” thing. They cause a person to suicide, you are not good.

My intention is not to feel the perpetrators of this crime worse than they already feel … but to show how in our modern society, our standards of personal responsibility has all but disappeared, a “progressive” inches at a time. Today, we tend to even give us a free pass for an odious behavior because we have “good” in other areas of life. Increasingly, it is OK to be angry, your team, if you’re a brilliant strategist spiritual. You can use your cunning fellow, if your sales are impressive. And it’s not cool to steal your best friend’s girlfriend – unless you are the star striker of the team basketball.
The truth is, if you usually commit this kind of evil, you are not “good.” If you are not in trouble, our society will make it difficult to say that we are not already there. The global economy is a wreck, especially since many people are “good” to take money from others and get our corrupt governments. “Good” people, who are otherwise responsible for, say, from a strong economy and employment of workers, instead infected with the disease and the right to spend their energy getting others to carry their loads. You can even see the trend in our waistlines, we look like we think it is OK to ignore a serious global approach to our health and vitality, because we are “good” for dessert were enough to skip this one last week.
We need to get a handle on this. Our ancestors in America were to lead us to real opportunities for health, happy and successful life … but we quickly waste these opportunities. It turns out that for all self-praise and encouragement as we heard in the media and in our conversations always present, we are not so good. And it is not good.
