Huawei Ascend D1 Q: first pictures, a quad-core smartphone introduced at MWC
Huawei surprises us by leaving its target entry-level to target the upscale market, with its Ascend D1 Q.
At CES, Huawei had surprised us with its first dual-core smartphone: the Ascend P1 S. Very thin, fast and directly integrating Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), the Chinese ended its strategy towards the entry level. A few days days later, a statement of one of the leaders indicated a target more upscale because of smartphones more powerful than the Ascend P1 S will be presented at MWC.

It is difficult to get an idea on the smartphone itself, but we see that Huawei ZTE keeps his distance. While the two Chinese companies were following a path rather cheap and unknown to the public, Huawei wishes to make its mark.
