Huawei surprises us by leaving its target entry-level to target the upscale market, with its Ascend D1 Q.

At CES, Huawei had surprised us with its first dual-core smartphone: the Ascend P1 S. Subject of many teasing, there will indeed “a smartphone even faster” in Barcelona. The president of Huawei gives us direct information from his Twitter. It will therefore be of the Ascend D1 Q, which you can see in these photos with a quad-core processor.

It is difficult to get an idea on the smartphone itself, but we see that Huawei ZTE keeps his distance. While the two Chinese companies were following a path rather cheap and unknown to the public, Huawei wishes to make its mark. It remains to be seen how it will impose its premium model face the giants (Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola …). Ascend D1 Q
