LG X3, a new quad-core phone on the way!
LG X3, a new quad-core phone on the way!
The LG X3 comes Leak: quad-core … but mostly Android 4.0 directly integrated.
If 2011 was the year of dual-core processors, 2012 will probably be that of quad-cores. The race for power will never stop in the world of mobility. This growth shows that the sector is far from being at an impasse, but produces a very rapid obsolescence of the terminals.
In 2011, the LG Optimus 2X was the first smartphone to have a dual-core processor: nVidia Tegra on 2. This year, the manufacturer could repeat the same thing, but with quad-core and the Tegra 3 via the LG X3.
Click Here!LG succumbed to the trend by offering an ever larger screen, as it will provide a diagonal of 4.7 inches (which logically should be based on IPS technology). For the resolution, we expect the HD (1280 x 720 pixels), which is fast becoming a standard. Inside, there are 16 GB of memory that can be supplemented by microSD cards. For the camera: 8 megapixel on the back and 1.3 on the front.
Great news: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) will be directly integrated. The manufacturer is a real bad boy in the field (the Optimus 2x received its upgrade to Gingerbread more than six months after its release!). In terms of design, it is noted that LG chose to retain its tactile keys.
In terms of connectivity, we’re talking about up to 21 Mbps HSPA, LTE for the regions concerned, WiFi b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0. The battery should be fairly comfortable with its 2000 mAh. Like the Galaxy Nexus, it could serve as a transmitter NFC.
A priori, this model should be announced next month at the Mobile World Congress, for release in spring or summer. This smartphone is in competition with the future Samsung Galaxy S III or HTC Edge / Endeavor. LG X3
