Notebook Italia has managed to have more precise information on the Acer Iconia Tab A700, shown at CES by Acer. Remember, this tablet is one of the first equipped with a screen “HD” 1920 × 1200, coupled with a high-end processor Tegra 3, all under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Well it seems that Acer has wanted more than all its competitors, especially Apple and Asus: the tablet could leave as early as April 2012!
With this equipment, the price of the tablet Acer Iconia Tab A700 rises considerably: one speaks of € 549 for a 16GB model Wi-Fi and up to € 749 for a top model 64 GB, Wi Fi and 3G. Rather paradoxical: the first price seems high relative to the market, while the top model could almost be considered cheap compared to competition (an iPad 2 with a screen less well defined cost € 799, with 64 GB and 3G, for example).
