Philanthropy has evolved over the years to become more than just a charitable act of giving. Heading Reliance’s social arm ‘Reliance Foundation’, Nita Ambani has made significant contributions to developing and nurturing Reliance occupied areas in Jamnagar, Gujarat and other similar areas in the vicinity. She has laid immense emphasis on the fact that development is not just an act of providing but an act of creating opportunities that will automatically render beneficial to the people.

Nita Ambani has also been working assiduously in order to raise the living standards of the underprivileged and the deprived members of the society as part of the Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation.
A cause most dear to her is that of ‘Education for All’. For long she has strived to create learning opportunities for underprivileged children in her endeavor to help build an educated India. She has received much support from everyone, including her co-owned IPL team Mumbai Indians, who have stepped to support this noble cause.
