In November 2011 we wrote that it appeared that Panasonic could well return to the European smartphone market. Not long after this also appeared to be happening: Panasonic unveiles a new device that was destined for the European market, but the unit still had no name. Today it was announced that the device will be called Panasonic Eluga.

On the Panasonic Convention 2012, the Panasonic Eluga announced the next smartphone from the company in Europe will be available. In March, the device must be available, but how much it will cost is not yet known. The manufacturer allows returns after years of absence back on the European mobile market. Panasonic had already released details about the Panasonic Eluga, but the time had no name.
