SmartGoggles – The American Sensics has a virtual reality helmet developed that runs on Android. The SmartGoggles can display 3D and can be used for movies, games and apps augmented reality.

Sensics has a promotional video of the SmartGoggles – known as the helmet – released. This shows that it is a virtual reality helmet (VR helmet) which is somewhat reminiscent of the HMZ-T1 of Sony: the dishes out of the helmet wearer a vision to fill the screen, while a set of built-in headphones for noise concerns.

Unlike Sony 3D VR helmets for the PS3, uses no SmartGoggles goggles to format images to dish – with two separate screens for each eye – but a wide screen. The device does not use any active or passive technology to the user 3D images to dish, but autostereoscopy, like the Nintendo 3DS.

The interface on the screen is provided by Google’s mobile operating system Android. The glasses also have its own processor and memory on board. This can be Android games (3D) films and to work with augmentedreality applications.

Outside the promo video for Sensics has not disclosed much information about the Smart goggles. Well let the company know that the SmartGoggles will present at the Consumer Electronics Show in January held in Las Vegas.
